How to Wear It / Participate

Participation is simple, respectful, and open to everyone.

· The pin is typically worn on the left side, close to the heart 

· It may be worn during the days of January 8th & 9th , or at any time as a gesture of remembrance 

· It can be worn at community events, gatherings, or in everyday settings 

You can take part in IEHR’s remembrance initiative by:

· Wearing the Remembrance Pin 

· Sharing its meaning with others in a respectful way 

· Participating in community events or awareness initiatives 

· Engaging with educational content and resources 

· Contributing to remembrance through reflection, dialogue, or storytelling

Participation does not require a large action.

Sometimes,  a small and thoughtful gesture such as wearing a pin can carry deep  meaning, create awareness, and contribute to a shared sense of  remembrance.

A symbol does not speak loudly but it carries meaning that can be seen, shared, and remembered.
