Iranian Eternal Heroes Remembrance: Objectives

EHR’s work is guided by three core objectives Education, Awareness, and Remembrance which together form the foundation of our initiatives and public engagement.

These pillars reflect our commitment to fostering understanding, promoting dignity, and preserving collective memory in a respectful, inclusive, and non-partisan manner.

We are committed to advancing public understanding of human rights, civic dignity, and the broader social and psychological impact of loss on individuals, families, and communities.  

Our educational efforts aim to:

• Provide accessible, research-informed content on human rights and peaceful civic participation  
• Explore the psychological and community impact of loss and trauma  
• Present historical context in a balanced, respectful, and informative manner  
• Support learning through articles, educational materials, and community-based initiatives  
• Encourage thoughtful dialogue grounded in knowledge, empathy, and mutual respect  

Through education, we seek to foster informed perspectives and contribute to a culture of awareness and understanding.

IEHR develop awareness initiatives that encourage reflection, engagement, and public understanding of shared human values.

Our awareness activities focus on:

• Promoting messages of dignity, human rights, and peaceful civic expression  
• Delivering campaigns through digital platforms, media, and community outreach  
• Sharing stories and narratives that foster connection and empathy  
• Engaging broader audiences through accessible and inclusive communication  
• Supporting public participation through initiatives such as the Remembrance Pin

Remembrance lies at the heart of IEHR’s purpose. We are dedicated to honoring the memory of those who lost their lives, while ensuring that their stories are preserved with dignity and respect.

• Encouraging annual reflection on January 8th & 9th  
• Creating opportunities for community-based remembrance and dialogue  
• Preserving stories and collective memories through respectful storytelling  
• Supporting symbolic initiatives that promote public participation and reflection  
• Providing a platform for individuals and communities to share tributes and memories
